i conducted a scientific experiment with all variables contained. and my final conclusion is i do it the same way as u
ok why does the car judder when i pull off in 1st?
new clutch
new clutch cable

hmmmm, i put a washer btween that stupid conduit pipe and the bit it goes thru 2put a bigger bend in it and its ok now.
but i had only replaced it recently, so i wonder if somethings broke and its slackening off, hummmm! _________________

i had this problem. apparently when i changed the clutch return spring on my 69 i pulled something loose inside the gearbox off the exposed spline that the clutch arm sits on. how god knows...
