actually its ok, i just remebered that i fitted it to the old motor, so any shit u had with it was down to john, not me;) lol

I got it with the original pierburg-solex peice of crap on it. I'm guessing he probably had the sense to ebay the weber first. This carb' is full of gunk and I had to replace the choke arm on it, I think i'll be whacking a weber on there when i've got some moolah.

aww man! stiched!!.... ive got his missis golf 5 in for test next week, ill have a word and try and blag it for you man! that should have come with the car...if not for feck all else than it took me bleedin ages to set up, and when it was the car went much better!! johns so tight man! ffs!

nah, wouldnt be  any performance increase, could go the bike carb route, but cant beat a little weber for 1300 golfs;)

I've replaced all the vacuum tubes and been using carb cleaner. The car is going infinitely better now... well for now I suppose, till it dies again. I found the right weber for it, there about 180 squids brand new, might get one if I get many more problems. I've also got a sportex backbox on the way for it, that should annoy the neighbors. Razz Now i've just got to convince my mum and girlfriend that it's a good idea to spend £500 of my student loan on either some ATS cups or Lenso BSX's. Hell hath no wrath... you get the picture hahah

lol, fuck the education, get some cups on there!!

(ps - john sold the weber on ebay for £120!! so second hand value is high!!) and hes now chuggin aroud in a shitty old pug 205!! one sold out...one sold IN!
