Ruby My Mk1 JettaAt long last i have sold my soul to a Volkswagen, one of which i have always wanted 
i brought for a tiny amout of £300 a Mk1 Jetta and have named her Ruby, she is a 1.5 GLs and is a pretty red colour with red matching interier.
As always for a price that cheap there are concequences that will be suffered so there is a nice list building of work to be done! Adz's mum has been lovely enough to let me keep her spot on the drive so that is her place untill she is ready and untill i can get my ass in gear to pass my test 
Picked her up from cheltenham and towed her to adz's realized straight away that some wheel bearings need replacing as we sounded more like a train than a car!
she also needs a fair few bits of welding and maybe a fair few pannel changes, she's also going to be treated to new break discs, pads and all new filters and fluids, and the list goes on.... including things i already had planned haha.
Will keep you all posted on progress and finds, she is quite a project but im keen and adz is just as keen to get started into making her more mine
so here she is.... what do you think?

that interior is lovelly. wont matter if you spill red wine or snakebite in there! cant beat a jetta. get it in the weeds!!!

updatewelllll, poor ruby has been cut and sat for a while as i have been too lazy to work on her, i have 2 weeks off starting next week so hopefully get her started, have taken some more pics of when adz cut out the rust, she is a little holey now but will be mended, so i will put them up when i get chance and my progress thoughout the weeks. im planning on replacing the rear wheel bearings, shoes, brake lines for now then do the front if i have time, and fit some qtr lites as i brought some off adz
i am new to this car melarchy but am enjoying it all and am looking forward to learn how to "do stuffs" on my own (or maybe with a little help )
