Richard's fleetHello everyone,
We had an 80th Birthday party yesterday afternoon for my Mother-in-Law and as the weather was sunny, I lined my "fleet" up for the guests to see.
Here we have the following cars from left to right.
Tirpitz, the now "not so dented" 1974 1303
1955 Standard 10
1970 Morris Minor
1992 Mini Sprite
1965 Riley Elf
1990 Escort XR3i
I know that I have too many cars, but I do not know of any "cure" - do you?
Best regards,
Richard

Hello everyone,
Thank you for your nice comments.
I get a lot of enjoyment from these cars. Also being of different makes, I also belong to the clubs associated with them. In that way I meet some very different sets of people, the main thing being that they are all very friendly.
I can arrange some inter-club events if you wish me to.
The XR3i was my Brother's from new and is totally original, right down to the Ford radio/cassette player. I think that this car has great classic potential, as there are few left in this condition. Great fun to drive! I believe that Harry has now sold his RS Turbo.
I left my 1999 VW Passat and my Wife's 1993 Vauxhall Astra out of the lineup, as I do not consider them to be potential classics. Do you think they ever will be? There is talk of incentives being offered to scrap cars over 9 years old in favour of new ones. What do you think of that?
Best regards,
Richard
