Hels, passat is pooh man!!! just cuz i chucked some decent rims on it dont make it a nice car! much rather have done a gttdi golf but there still too strong on the dollars, also i just jump in it all the time and leave the aircooleds rotting away on the drive all neglected, cuz its easier!! bloody sellout! lol

Hello everyone,
I can understand what George means about his Passat. I have a 1999 T reg Passat very similar to George's (apart from mine being a 1.8 20 valve petrol and his being a 1.8T (turbo))
It was my Company car from new, but I bought it off the leasing company 5 years ago with 90K on the clock. It has now done 142K without missing a beat. It is a very capable and comfortable car and ideal for long distance business use.
However, when I fired up Tirpitz this Thursday and drove it 12 miles to work, you could not wipe the smile off of my face! Tirpitz is rusty, noisy, smelly and rattly, but it has that fun factor that modern cars cannot reproduce.
I am looking forward to another summer of fun with the old battleship!

no man, had well gash oxygens on it when i bought it ... i got em off darren at cruze control round by us at 123, brand new monza reps with tyres...for 400 quid... but he sorted me out cuz he owes us grandage on his account! u can get em off the bay for about 300 quid used i think.
