"No water cooled on the lawns" so we stayed off the lawns as a club and paid for sodding parking!

And not only was there then watercooled on the lawns, but a Vauxhall Astra!

Too be fair tho we didn't spend that much time looking round we spent more time trying to buy lunch and wandering up and down the pier trying to avoid that poxy train! Laughing

Yeh it does depend on who is allowed to go.
On the CTTP website it just says Porsches and VW's so im not sure if that means water & air this year or not.
I will find out, i think if its everything its worth going to because its a nice day trip. Very Happy

to me a classic vw is anything up to about 20 years old and still going strong! buts that MY opinion, i bet some peeps in golfs get told to f off again.

When i spoke to him i said i used to blast about in golfs for years untill i had the taste for air! and most of these kids will grow up to appreciate the older stuff, but not if they are not included in such shows, especially when it is a good day out!

i dont think i was the only one havin a dig mind u!! lol, however im sure there will be new bugs trying their hardest to look retro Wink

i think mr scoops had a hard time last year and did alienate a lot of people in water pumpers!! hence this year due to immense nagging HE's allowing them to HIS show. but i bet there will still be "them & us" golfs. personally i like to poke around the new shit, i aint really into it so like to see whats going down that side.
hopefully the 3 of us will be going! but not at this rate!!

ps- anyone whos not in a dub but wants to go, and has a driving license can use the porsche for the day, its a shite mobile!! but anyone can use it, thats why we got it Wink

its 3rd party only insured, but also covered on our works fully comp trade ins. so u may not need to mess about with insurance as long as your fully comp on your car!
offers there anyway, as long as u dont mind looking GAY for a DAY! and trust me.... itll really lower the tone in the porsche corner of the lawns!! lol

Not quite sure what the atmosphere is going to be like but i thought its worth going to because its not that far and its a nice drive all else fails you have the beach, Arcade and lots of food places so there is always something to do.

Would be nice to see all 3 of you there g.
Maybe you should give the lil baba an eviction notice, might make an appearence then. Very Happy

The location of the start of the cruise is:

Brean Leisure Park, Coast Road, Brean Sands, Somerset TA8 2QY
Brean Leisure Park is near Junction 22 of the M5. Follow the Brown & White Tourist Board Signs from the motorway towards Burnham On Sea and North heading for Berrow and Brean. As you approach the Leisure Park you will pass Holiday Resort Unity on your right hand side. At the mini roundabout turn right onto the Park entrance road. You will see the main gates on your left.

Also what about you peeps from glos probably have to meet you at Gordano services or something.

Im not quite sure what time it starts as i can't find a time on the website, may just be me being blind but i will find out and post it laters.

Full details are to follow but the route itself is:

Leaving from the REAR GATE of Brean Leisure Park.
Right out of Brean Leisure Park onto Red Road
Left (kind of straight on really) onto Barton Road
This turns into Berrow Road. (B3140)
This turns into Manor Road. (B3140)
Over the roundabout onto Love Lane (B3140).
On up to A38 and left at Roundabout.
Left at roundabout onto A370 an on to WsM.

I am interested in doing the Cruz to the prom again this year, in Tirpitz my notorious grey Beetle.

As I live in Stroud, would it be best for me to make my own way to the starting point at Brean, or meet up with you at Gordano services?

If you are stopping at Gordano, what time would you be there?
