83 Golf GX Lhasa Green for saleHey peeps,
Selling my 83 Mk1 GX.
Its a 1.5 manual 5 speed with a weber carb. Got 110,000 on the clock.
Its had a laserline immobiliser fitted too.
Think there is 6 months ish on the MOT, but will double check when I get hold of the paperwork. 5 months tax.
Lowered on Coilies with 14' bottletop alloys from a mk 2. its got 155/55 tyres on 6j wheels so its got a bit of stretch. Tyres went on brand new a month ago, so they've got plenty of miles left.
Also got a working CB with a 155 cm antenna and a 65cm one.
It had the pioneer upgrade originally, so has the uprated door speakers.
Posted the only two pics i have with me, but let me know if you want to see anything or know anything and I'll sort something out.
Roofrack and the kit on it can be sold with the car. Rack is now covered in camo netting and there is enough left to do whatever you want with. I have a square cut out that I had stretched over the bonnet.
The front plate is not on the car, but I have it in the window, and also have the bracket to fit it to the front bumper.
Car is solid, when it was MOT'd the tester said that it was. only thing it failed on before was emissions, that was sorted by leaning up the fuel into the carb, light pattern and leaking shock absorber. All the suspension was changed then for the coilies that had done less than 1000 miles.
Looking for around £850 for the car, but am happy to listen to any offers you might have. Been to a couple of meets with you guys so you might have seen it.
