Is anyone runnin to the sun this year, The line up is lookin pritty good for the weekend...?????????

I'm tempted, but after I went a couple of years ago and had the worst weekend of my life dodging pill heads, Impreza's running over tents, rain and huricane style winds; I vowed never to return again

So for that reason......'I'm out"

I think its gunna be too expensive for me! (£75 + £6 booking fee) I mean fair enough the lines great and seems like a good weekend but, I'm having a pricey couple of months, birthdays, parties and holidays!

Think I'll have to say I'm giving it a miss also, would like to go at some point tho....

If you were up for going, I'd still go get your own opinion on the show and report back to us all! Like I said the only thing stopping me is lack of funds, and I can't say I've heard anything bad about it myself! It's usually Santa pod ones that i've heard people slag off, but I will be attending Action this year just like I did last year =)

I went down two years ago and stayed on a local campsite due to being skint. Was a good laugh cuz we stilll followed the cruise and meet people in town for drinks and was less than half the price. Laughing

Was alot of chavy tw**s though which i wasnt buzzing off!! Sad

Hello Dubpounders,

I went down last year in Tirpitz, but like Recard did it on my own terms!

I was only interested in the Cruise down and the show and shine on the Sunday. No way was I going to stay on the noisy Trevelgue campsite, so I stayed in the comfort of a nearby Travel Inn.

On the the Saturday I did my own thing and drove right round the coast of Cornwall, calling in at St. Ives, Land's End and Penzance.

It was something I felt I "had to do", if only once and if Tirpitz could make it anything could!!

People tried to put me off, but I went with an open mind and enjoyed the experience.
