Hello there, i'm Alex... some might know me, most won't. Anyways, unfortunately after great service and a 135000 miles my poor little pug' 106 'Roysten' has gone into retirement. So I was left in a position where I was looking for a new ride. My girlfriend Rhi made me write a top 10 list of cars I wanted and this was near the top. (didn't think I could afford to run a Lancia Delta for more than about 8 miles...) After enjoying many childhood summers in my Gran and Grandads 72' camper (with a built in kitchen and chessboard) I thought buying an old VeeDub would be a wise plan. A trip to Glos' , £500 and about 2 weeks of work later and I have 'Danzig' (named after the great man himself) A 1983 Mk1 golf C formel E, which had a 1.3 from a CL shoved into it. I've de-rustified, sprayed, filled, cleaned, repaired and posed at the top of the drive in him for 2 long weeks and he's now on the road. You'll probably see me around in him as I cover alot of miles, so if you see me give us a flash...
Oh yeah and i found out it used to be Gorey's ride... Bigtime.

Charzz,
Alex

If i had the cash it would have a nice set of gold 'n' black BBS rims on it, any cash I once had though will soon be gone. The bugger broke down in the COOP carpark this morning, the missfire turned into nofire :S  It's down at Shaws in cindy now awaiting an inspection...

its always idles ruff on cold, was set up on my emissions machine when warm, co and hc checked, all good, its just a ruff un, could always go back to the shite pierburg that was givin john loadsa jip! on the other hand it was probably the crack in his old block that was the trouble, r u goin to sort out the gash side? or r u just gonna drive it? your problems most defo were not with the carb! i spent fookin hours getting it to run and drive half decently!!!
