1984 GL5 auto passat estate
2ltr 5pot Wink

only 65k
loads of service history
silver
very tidy, very solid, very original
very Cool

i've covered about 5k in it, really tidy car.

good bits:
really tidy and totally original (minus the chopped springs and stickers).
serviced regularly and lots of service history.
only done 65k.
loads of tax and test, flew through last mot Smile

shes a 5pot and will do 110 effortlessly.
original and very clean interior, including orig radio, very comfy.

bad bits:
scabby rear passenger side arch.
slight scuffs on front bumper.
its running on chopped springs, i dont class this as a bad thing but i know some peeps, do. but i will supply original springs with it. Smile

i absolutely love this car, and will be sad to see her go.
but as i start uni in September, its just not practical with the amount of traveling i will be doing.
im not going to lie, she is a thirsty car, so im looking for a diesel.
returns around 25mpg around town and somewhere around 35 on the motorway.

as i work at a garage, she has been extremely well looked after and serviced regularly. if something needed doing, it got done.
recently had new rear cylinders and shoes, new pads on front, new tyres, complete new exhaust, recon starter motor.

im asking £1200 for her, possibly part ex/ swap for a diesel estate, but will consider anything.

ha ha, i was usin some weird upholstery cleanin shizlle, pressed the button with the nozzle facing the wrong way, and squrted in my eyes rofl Laughing
