Up for sale is my mk1 golf... ive only had it since about december but in that time ive done a fair bit to it...
The base car is a golf GL, 1.5 with a 5speed box
its covered 143k but drives fine.
new parts ive fitted...
clutch
clutch cable
starter motor
battery
water pump
drive belt
dizzy cap
rotor arm
condensor
plugs
leads
replaced a couple of fuel lines
rear wheel bearings
so it does drive nice!
now the extras...
its slammed on its arse on coilovers
its got recently refurbd alfa speedline 15" alloys with nearly new bridgestone potenza 165/50 tyres
2sets of camber shims and longer stub axle bolts
the bumpers are american spec chrome bumpers fitted with UK bumper brackets to tuck them into the car more
rabbit badges, mudflaps and smoked sunstrip
californian number plates
checkerd door cards with 13cm speaker pods
yellow tinted headlamps
yellow sidelight and h4's
3 mutant x amps! 1 big one for the 12" pioneer sub, 2smallers power the front and rear sony 3way speakers!
the bad bits...
the paint isnt as good as it looks in pictures, it could ultimatly do with a paint job but thats if your bothered, i wasnt its still nice unless you have a proper look
the rear wipers been removed but not smoothed, you could just fit a new wiper if you wanted it to look a bit less odd
before i bought the bumpersm i ran it bumperless for a while and hav no idea where the horn went in the process
the rear passenger doors been repaired badly in the past and could do with replacing, i hav a mint door but its green...
the wheel and suspension combo makes for a harsh ride but personally id sacrifice my spine for coolness anyday!
ther is a patch on the sill that will need doing for MOT, (along with winding the coilies up) this is only about 2"x1"
the cars got just less than 6months tax and test left
and insurance is soooo cheap!
price is £1750 with tuuuunes, £1550 without
swamp cooler or opening quater lites arnt included in the sale!
